Carl's 90 is a hardening oil , which contains less than 10% solvents and is intended for the surface treatment of untreated timber floors exposed to normal or heavy wear. Due to its application and quick drying time, the floor may be completed in one working day.

Carl's 45 is a hardening tall oil intended for the surface treatment of untreated timber floors , exposed to normal or heavy wear, but due to its longer open time, larger areas can be treated. With increased solvent content, the oil dries more slowly allowing the contractor more time to apply the oil .

A maintenance oil for wooden floors previously treated with Carl's 90 or Carls's 45 or other traditional oil products. Depending upon wear and cleaning regime, an oiled floor should be maintained around two-three times per year in public areas with heavy wear, once or twice per year in areas with medium to low wear and once every three years in homes, depending on use.
